Lexie
Dark clouds loomed over Cotton Candy park. I hoped it wasn’t going to rain because next to geek fest, I pretty much ADORED going to theme parks. With all the fun rides and junk food I could stuff in my face, I’d feel like I’d gone straight to heaven. Plus, we’d get it to ourselves. That’s the bonus of 1. having a famous boyfriend who would get mobbed if we went with the masses and 2. having a boyfriend with RICH parents who owned it and could black out the day for us.
“So what are we going to ride first, huh, babe?” I asked. “I like FAST rollercoasters the best.” I knew I was blabbing a mile a minute, but Charlie didn’t seem to care.
“My folks’ park only has one fast coaster, but I think you’ll like it. We can ride it first, if you wish.”
Aww…he was so sweet. I kissed his cheek and he smiled.
Once we entered, I searched around for the highest coaster, but it was all the way in the back of the park. James decided he wasn’t comfortable running around outside as himself (because he worried even the workers would freak out when they saw him) so he dressed as Jenny. Secretly, I loved when he did that. He was so funny when he acted like her.
Stopping in front of a photo booth, he said, “Hmm…I wonder who’s more photogenic. Me or you now that you’re a professional model.”
I laughed. “You know no one is as pretty as you are, Jenny.” I could feed James’ ego with the best of them. He’d take the bait and say something even more hilarious.
Slapping his face, he said, “Darling! But I think you are, so there’s only one way to find out.”

Charlie
I’d never seen Lexie more excited. She talked and kissed me before, during and after the flight to Brindleton Bay. But…as soon as we arrived at the park, she ran off with James. I tried not to get angry or jealous, but just watching them pissed the hell out of me.
Colin stepped next to me and said, “It’s been six months, dude, and things haven’t changed.”
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“Do I have to spell it out? James is still in love with Lexie. Look at him. Why do you think he dressed as Jenny? So he can ‘pretend’ he’s a girl and get all handsy.”

Lexie
I laughed at James, looking all cute and coy. He probably would win so I decided to switch tactics. “I sooo wouldn’t get in that booth with you, Jenny. It wouldn’t be fair. You’re right. I’ve been trained to make the camera love me.”
“Really? Hmm…” He cocked his head. “What’ll you give me if I win?”
“You’re not winning because I’m not going in there. Photo booths take shitty pictures. Everyone knows that.”
He turned around and said, “Oh, honey, then you’d miss getting a pic of this beautiful ass. I’d win hands down.”

Charlie
Colin was known for starting shit. And I couldn’t feed into my jealousy. “Who’s bed was Lexie sleeping in last night? It sure as hell wasn’t James’.”
“Dude,” Colin countered. “Who’s getting yanked into that photo booth over there? Alone?”
I lifted my eyes and saw James pulling Lexie into the booth.
“Ack!” Lexie yelled.

Lexie
James and I got in one picture then Charlie, huffing and puffing from running, forced everyone inside.
“Good God, people. I’m sweating my foundation off!” James said. “I think this booth was only made for two.”
I playfully put up some red glasses on Charlie. Has anyone ever died of a cute-attack? Omg, my boyfriend was dreamy!
Next thing I knew, Charlie nudged James toward the back and said, “Out of the way, Sanderson. It’s my turn with my girl.” He wrapped his arm around me in a tight hug, making me almost gag.
“Watch it, babe. You’re choking me!” I said.
I was right about one thing. Photo booth pictures sucked.
Next, Charlie took my hand and led me over to the Jurassic Jungle Coaster. James and Colin followed. The coaster clickety clacked as we inched toward the top. And Oh. My. GOD! The view of Brindleton Bay was spectacular in the fall.
Suddenly, my stomach plunged as we free-fell down the track. I raised my arms, feeling giddy. “WEE!” The cool air rushed over my face as the coaster roared.
What a rush! James screamed louder than anyone.
Before we knew it, the ride ended. I couldn’t help but giggle. “Again!” I cried.
I looked over to see James holding Colin’s hand.
“Babe, I didn’t know you wanted me that badly,” Colin said in a sultry tone. “Wait until we get back at the hotel, at least.”
James smacked Colin hard. “Cut it out, loser. Touch me again and I’ll blacken your eye.”
Those two. I wondered how James stayed friends with Colin. It seemed like Colin was always making lewd comments to him. But then, I guessed James was used to his type of humor.
“Want to go on the carousel next, Lexie?” Charlie asked, interrupting my thoughts. “My parents bought a rare carousel made with glass horses. It’s my mother’s favorite thing in the park.”
At the beautiful, old timey carousel, the charming circus type music plinked along as the horses slowly slid up and down. I nuzzled Charlie, peppering him with kisses. This was the most romantic idea he’d ever had.
The day couldn’t get any more perfect.

Even though I ship Lexie with James more than him, this is all still so unfair to Charlie… gah. Itās all such a mess.

Thanks. Glad you like the pics. It did take a while but not as long as that party. (I made the rollercoaster poses. That was fun, actually.)
Well, I guess it’s not fair that Lexie loves to hang out with James. But to her, she’s just hanging out with a friend sometimes but mostly, she’s hanging with Charlie. It’s just she gravitates to James out of comfort (desire, too?)

Man, IS James trying to make Charlie jealous on purpose, or is he just enjoying being Lexie’s friend and taking what he can get?
Maybe some combo of both, but I do think James genuinely just craves her attention.

Yay! Glad you liked the park. Iāve always wanted to do a proper fun park setting. Iād seen the carousel about three years ago but had a crappy computer and worried about it crashing since itās high poly. And the poses were fun to make! š

Colin’s right about James dressing up as Jenny just to get Lexie and make Charlie jealous. I laughed when I discovered that James went to the theme park as Jenny. I agree with Lexie. He’s funny when he dresses and acts like Jenny.
I look forward to Lexie meeting Charlie’s parents and I wonder if Charlie has a surprise in store for her.

The amusement park was amazing!! That’s so cool that you set it up yourself. I can easily imagine all the time that went into it–totally worth it.
Aaa, Tension is building. How long until Charlie blows up? Lexie and James have such an easy rapport, something Charlie’s still struggling with. And then there’s the jealousy…
It’s a shame Lexie is so unaware of it. I have a bad feeling…

Well, I set up some of it. I got it off the gallery then put a bunch of cc in it and set up the rollercoaster area and the booths, etc. I also found a set of Sims 3 converted stuff to put in as well. I’m too lazy to make a whole place myself atm.
Dun, dun, duuuun…you think Charlie will blow? Hmm…(those dark clouds over the park could be a bit of foreshadowing… š )

Ohhhh…..the theme park was awesome! Great poses! Charlie and James are getting ready to have a showdown. That storm is brewing, I canāt believe how naive Lexie is about the whole James thing. She adores Charlie and James both. Sheās gonna have to choose and I bet she chooses Charlie.

The purk was amazing, especially the carousel.
A storm is coming and it’s going to be bad, I can feel it. I wonder if Lexie will eventually be the cause for the band to split.

Hmm…that’s an interesting question. No doubt, if things go wrong, someone will have a lot of clean up to do and glue to keep them together. We’ll see though. Lots can happen (although we are nearing the ending! Only six more chapters!) š®
